(The Legends Saga, #3)
Publication date: September 14th 2015
Genres: New Adult, Paranormal
Time passes, sins forgotten.
The bodies of the victims long since rotten.
Trapped within the essence of the Headless Horseman by the guilt of slaughtering her best friend, Ireland Crane follows the father of science fiction, HG Wells, in search of freedom from the curse that binds her. Instead, she discovers even he has a hidden agenda. A dark, relentless passion to be reunited with the woman he loves has driven him to manipulate time and a murderous Horseman.
Yet heed my warning, as the Raven flies,
The Hessian will come … and you will die.
All that prevents Ireland from abandoning Wells’ twisted pursuit, or introducing him to her sword, are the undead witches haunting her. Begging for freedom from a vile succubus, the ghoulish coven leads Ireland and her crew on a journey through Salem’s sordid past. There, they learn there is more to Nathaniel Hawthorne’s history than a scarlet letter, and the secret they’ve uncovered seeks to destroy them all.

Guest Post: Top Ten Tips for a Successful Book Signing
10 – If you are new to booksignings, consider sharing a table. Most events will offer this option. It’s half the cost, and half the space. This is perfect if you only have a couple of books to display! A great chance to get the feel of events without all the overhead cost!
9 – Have plenty of giveaway swag, like bookmarks or postcards, ready! Even if shoppers don’t buy from your table, getting your materials in their hands increases their chance of future purchases!
8 – You will hear that some shoppers only buy ebooks. That’s okay! Consider giving them the ebook option with discounted coupon codes for your titles printed up. Even sold at a discount it gives you another opportunity to gain a new reader! If you have a free ebook this is a great opportunity to advertise it!
7 – Stage your table! Consider this your store, your platform! Put in the effort and make it attractive enough to draw people over!
6 – Be ready to make change. Have some sort of cash box ready! Being unable to break a twenty WILL cost you sales! If they have to leave to hunt down change, chances are they won’t come back.
5 – In addition to making change, being able to take a credit or debit card is a fantastic idea! Most people pay with plastic now. Having a sign on your table saying you take major credit cards is a HUGE plus! I use the Square, but there are many other programs you can use. Research it and find the one that fits your needs best.
4 – Don’t be afraid to start conversations with strangers, sometimes it can lure them over to the table! Saying things like, “I love your dress,” “where did you get that coffee,” or “has anyone ever told you that you look like Kris Kristofferson?” are all examples of random comments I have made to people that ended up leading to a sale. Be friendly, and people are more likely to approach you!
3 – STAND UP! If you don’t have a line of people in front of you, and are signing books left and right, then you need to stand up! Sitting you are busy and disinterested. Standing you are engaged and more approachable!
2 – Consider having something at the table to draw them in. I have used giveaways, candy, or even temporary tattoos that I applied for them. It might not even have to do with your books, but gives you a great time to mention them!
1 – Reconsider what success means to you. I never go to events intending to sell-out or sell a ton. I go to meet new readers, make new friends, and network within the literary community—which is an amazingly fun group. I can honestly say I would not be where I am in my career if I never traveled to these events. If you can attend them, try to. The networking alone is priceless!
